Hi Shilpa,
I’ve been relying on your Blog to stay up to date with the team. Thank you!!! I talked to Bob on Tuesday around lunchtime. He said that he would be heading out to Lake Bonney and that he wasn’t sure about being able to communicate once there. Since I haven’t been able to talk to or write to him I’ve become slightly concerned about the situation at the lake. You’ve indicated that the weather at McMurdo has been too bad to fly. Is there any letup in sight? Is the weather bad at the lake too? Do you have communication with the rest of the team? Are you and Chris doing o.k.? Does the team have everything (food, shelter, emergency contacts) they need out at the lake? Do you think the flooring and robot will be shipped on Monday if the weather clears?
